Juror: Marilynn Cowgill, PhD

Marilynn has been in love with fibers and textiles since she was a little girl, making clothes for her Ginny dolls. Since then, she has sewn, knitted, dyed and woven her way through many happy hours. Taking a weaving class at the Delaware Art Museum in the 1980’s, she learned how to weave. She was hooked then, and still is today. These days, at her studio in Lambertville (stickavavastudio.com), she weaves and designs all day, making shawls, blankets, wall hangings, and other magical things! Reflecting her vision of the natural beauty all around us, she is entranced by color, texture and natural fibers, which then make their way into her woven creations for others to enjoy.
